Abstract:  Kazuo Ishiguro's novel Klara and the Sun is a moving science fiction, revealing the possible ethical crisis caused by abuse
of science and technology. The protagonist Klara is an intelligent robot endowed with such human abilities as observation, inference,
imagination and empathy, exclusively designed as the companion for an isolated child. Acting as an angel on the earth, she, together
with the kind Sun, is committed to saving those people in peril. The ethical choices made by Klara and the Sun are selflessly to devote
their brilliance of love and humanity, however, driven by greedy desire, human beings are abusing the scientific power, resulting in the
irretrievable ethic unbalance and being degraded into the slave to technology and the walking corpse. Ishiguro puts the setting of the
story in a most advanced future society and aims to deeply reveal the possible crises concerning family ethic, friendly ethic and
humanity ethic caused by abuse of science and technology, sounding the alarm for anthropocentrism.
